If the day ever came when we were able to accept ourselves and our children exactly as we are and they are, then, I believe we would have come to an understanding of what "good parenting" means.

Breathe In & Shine: Mindfulness for Children and Families

Are you interested in bringing some stillness into your busy family life?

In this introductory program, Sara will teach child-friendly mindfulness practices to children and their families that they can then practice together at home. Activities include games, songs, stories, art activities and everyday mindful awareness practices.  Mindfulness can help to reduce stress, provide tools for responding to strong feelings such as worry, anger, fear & frustration as well as to support connection in todays often-hectic households. Families will also learn about how our brain works and how keeping it in mind can support connection in challenging times. (In 2 parent families, either 1 or both parents can attend).
